Government sticks to 0.7% aid target but cuts DFID funding

The Chancellor, in his autumn statement on 29 November, announced that the UK Government is sticking to its 0.7% of GNI aid budget target. However, because of lower than planned growth in the economy, this has meant cuts to DFID's budgets.
