Report and Resources from NIDOS Climate Change Networking Event on 16th October 2008 (Link)
This NIDOS networking event brought members together to share information relating to their work on climate change; NIDOS has gathered together a range of resources associated with the event.

Next Steps on Climate Change for the Network
Discussions at the NIDOS Climate Change event resulted in a number of recommendations for next steps within the network, including the establishment of a working group.

NIDOS Climate Change Survey 2009
A key recommendation that came out of NIDOS’ networking event in 2008 was that the organisation should carry out a survey of members to establish what their current responses to climate change are and what their priorities might be for the future.

Climate Change Factsheets
In response to requests from members made through our survey, NIDOS has produced factsheets on climate change implications for development in a number of countries where members work; Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, India and Bangladesh.

Report from International Alert - Climate Change, Conflict and Fragility
In November 2009 international peace building organisation, International Alert published a report on the links between climate change and conflict.

NIDOS Carbon Footprint by Ecometrica and Carbon Footprint Factsheet
In April 2009 Ecometrica carried out a Greenhouse Gas Assessment, or Carbon Footprint, for NIDOS; we continue to look at ways of cutting our carbon footprint. We have also produced a factsheet containing advice on carbon footprints.

Scottish Education and Action for Development's Online Resource
SEAD, a NIDOS member, has developed a site containing a wealth of information on climate change as well as practical tools for tackling it at a community level.

Oxfam International Briefing Paper - Suffering the Science
Suffering the science: climate change, people and poverty reveals the immediate effects of climate change by combining the latest scientific observations with evidence from communities around the world.

Save the Children report on Children and Climate Change
Save the Children has recently brought out a report entitled “In the face of disaster: Children and climate change”, which you may find of interest.
