Clann Sona Romanian Appeal

Description

Clann Sona Romanian Appeal's work consists of collecting, packing and transport of relief goods to Romania. Our main project at present is helping to create a Rehabilitation Centre for orphans coming out of the institutions. We also pass on surplus donations to other groups, which work in Russia, Albania, Africa and here in Scotland. All funds are used for storage and transport costs as all the work of our group is done by voluntary unpaid staff. We deliver loads to the Excelsior Foundation in Romania who distribute to orphanages, schools and needy families. Though no member of our groups would claim to be expert, we have delivered more than 35 truckloads of aid and donated money to several groups. We need to develop our fundraising, logistic and administrative capabilities.
