Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental, international, humanitarian organisation dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world's poorest countries.

We work in Bangladesh, Cambodia, East Timor, India, Laos, Pakistan, Burundi, DR of Congo, Niger, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Chad, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Somalia, Angola, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, DPR Korea, Haiti, Indonesia, Liberia, Nepal, Sierra Leone.

In Scotland, Concern activities include fundraising and campaigning.

Our programmes overseas are focussed around health, education, livelihoods, HIV and AIDS and emergencies.

We have organisational expertise in hunger and nutrition; disaster risk reduction and emergency response and development programmes in response to community needs.
