Welcome to NIDOS
Network of International Development Organisations in Scotland
NIDOS is a network of 77 international development organisations with a base in Scotland. Whether it’s promoting educational opportunities for excluded young people in Bangladesh or helping to ensure safe drinking water for displaced families in Darfur, our member organisations are united by their focus: tackling poverty with communities around the world and raising awareness in Scotland of international development.
NIDOS works to improve the effectiveness of these organisations by bringing them together to share experience, ideas and information through the direct provision of training, support and advice, and by fostering effective communication with government and other decision makers.
